They are all gone now. It has been a year since the last passed away. I miss them all so much.
This picture was take in April 1942 probably in Corpus Christi, Texas. My great-aunt Lola (Wickliffe) Richardson is standing on the left. Next to her is my grandmother Ethel (Wickliffe) Ford, my dad Clay Franklin Ford, my grandfather Arthur Elisha Ford, my aunt Daisy Ruth (Ford) Green, and in the back, my uncle William Ezra Ford.
I never knew my grandfather or my uncle, as they had died before I was born. My grandmother’s stories about them and her life are what got me interested in doing genealogy. I never tire of searching for an elusive ancestor and I have several of those.
